Nunzio's Simple Gift

Picture
It was during my most recent travels that this idea came to me.  I was at Cannes - the festival is such a homecoming for me, I never miss seeing my people there.  But while I was enjoying the gathered glitterati, I couldn’t stop thinking of our little group and the issues we face.  I received no fewer than twenty texts from you all during my time away (not counting the dozen or so from Art that I think were not intended for me... just who is this "Lola" anyway?).

It was clear that we need to bring ourselves together ourselves in a union of strength.  As a European, this solution was - if I may - more available to me than for you Americans.  You know how much I love you Americans, but your individualism can sometimes become a distraction.

Simple gifts will be our salvation.

I will pledge my network of relationships.  I cannot promise that I will be here for every show.  But I can promise that I will promote each and every show among my international network of patrones de las artes.

And now my dear friends, I’d love to stay and hear from each of you.  But I must leave for a millennial eclipse party in the Scandinavian tundras.  I’ll be sure to make them my first solicitation for our venture.  Ciao!  Besos!
