Wall Street is a scam...

... a Ponzi scheme, a house of cards, a government-subsidised casino in which you turn over your honest bucks to the giggling numerati.

Or,

Our system of global capital formation is a highly complex and sophisticated processor of information that can correctly evaluate the present and forecast the future (usually? occasionally? hopefully?).

In the humble opinion of the author, each of the above statements is arguably true (if anyone wants me to lay out said arguments, just email me and ask... I'd be happy to make my case - just give me a bit of time to put it together).

But you know, it's our Ponzi-scam-house-of-cards-information-processor.  As a member of this "great ol' nation of ours, a little land I like to call... my country," you should really understand something about investing.

We're building a resource here for you to learn about the dark alchemy of investing.  You'll learn:
  • Investing Terms and Concepts
  • What is investing anyway?
  • The liquidity spectrum
  • Just how do you get money to invest?
  • What is diversification and asset allocation?
  • How and where can you go to make investments?
